My name is Megan Coleman and I'm 24 years old. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan in 2021. I originally planned on going into Law Enforcement after graduation but unfortunately, I had some medical issues come up that no longer made me eligible to go through the police academy. After coming to this semi sudden realization less than a year from graduating with my degree, I decided to focus more on photography.
Not only does photography provide an escape, it also helps keep me active. I've always enjoyed taking pictures as a kid, so when I was offered the opportunity a couple of years ago to embrace that passion and combine it with my job every once in a while, I jumped on the opportunity.
When I first started, I didn't know much about the art of photography. So I decided to teach myself in the best way I know how, by doing it. And I've been doing it that way ever since.
